SPEAKERS
Karen Davis, PhD is the President of United Poultry Concerns, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the compassionate and respectful treatment of domestic fowl. Karen will discuss “Chickens Belittled: An Inquiry Into the Representation of Chickens, Animal Liberation and Animal Welfare in the Writings of Peter Singer and Temple Grandin.”





WRIR EVENTS!

For those who are interested, the 300 and 400 blocks of West Broad are
having a party this coming Saturday, October 16th from 4 to 8pm. Quirk, 1708, Lift, and Steady Sounds are throwing a block party to celebrate their neighborhood and build support for WRIR. Jesse and Joanna will be playing music, they will screen their Summer Film Camp film "Time Feet" and other short films, family activities, and there will be pumpkins and cupcakes for sale. All pumpkin and beer sales will benefit WRIR.
